This thing is totally motion-sensitive and will start flopping around if you walk by it. It made my boyfriend jumped the first time because he didn't know it was. The cats absolutely love it, and my three month old is getting a kick out of it too. The instructions say that you have to have the catnip inside and I have not tried it without the catnip yet to see if the cats will still be interested in it. My two cats are both two years old and they have been taking turns with it.

I purchased this to give my 2 fat cats something to do and hopefully help them drop some weight. They both absolutely love the fish and now fight over who gets to play with it. The cat will go up to it, put a paw to it, and the fish begins flopping and both cats pounce to be the first to get it. They seem to love the catnip as well as the flopping action. They like to pull it close and try to stop it from flopping. They have honestly enjoyed it more than I thought they would so that's a plus.

Wow, this cat toy did not disappoint. After a quick charge it is good to go. Our younger cat loved it the most. I like that it will flip and flop then stop then once it senses movement it starts flipping again. So if my cat walked away it’s not flopping for hours. It is a little loud but it doesn’t bother me. Great quality and adorable looking! We would definitely purchase again.
